Alzheimer's disease is a very close and personal cause to me. My grandmother died from this disease over 30 years ago and now both my parents suffer from it as well.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this devastating disease.
I will continue to spread the word and work along side the Alzheimer's Association in bringing us all one step closer to a cure.
Please help me bring the gift of music to those suffering with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia by donating your used iPods.....
We are collecting used iPods and all other Apple music playing devices to assist those who are afflicted with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Your iPod will go to the institutions and facilities that assist with the care of those suffering from memory disease, through the organization Music & Memory. We are also grateful to the Broadway Green Alliance for their support and assistance.
Please send them or drop them off to:

Kansas State University presented the day-long workshop this past spring at the K-State Alumni Center.
I was very honored to have been asked to present on being an Alzheimer's Ambassador Advocate and also to discuss my involvement with the personalize music therapy project which inspired the creation of the Broadway Alzheimer's iPod Drive. My presentation is included in the link below. Please watch and learn how you can help those suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
