Alzheimer's disease is a very close and personal cause to me. My grandmother and mother died from this disease and now my father suffers from it as well.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this devastating disease.
I will continue to spread the word and work along side the Alzheimer's Association in bringing us all one step closer to a cure.
Please help me bring the gift of music to those suffering with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia by donating your used iPods.....
We are collecting used iPods and all other Apple music playing devices to assist those who are afflicted with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Your iPod will go to the institutions and facilities that assist with the care of those suffering from memory disease, through the organization Music & Memory. We are also grateful to the Broadway Green Alliance for their support and assistance.
Please send them or drop them off to:

Only 10 years ago less than 50% of physicians were even qualified to identify and diagnose Alzheimer's disease. Now we have the ability through an MRI to diagnose and therefore plan for care. This is what funding does. Now our researchers are closer and closer to providing therapy and hopefully one day a cure. I lost my mom to this disease 10 months ago and now my dad suffers from it. I will not rest until we all work together to end this horrible disease. Please give if you can. Go to the link below and support my WALK TO END ALZHEIMER'S on October 18, 2015.
